11 September , 2017 - 12 September , 2017
Venue: Benicàssim (Spain)

University of Castellon (Spain) was the organizer of the 5th Annual Young Academics’ Vision on Tomorrow’s Transport Law Conference (TransLawFer 2017). The TransLawFer cycle of conferences was inaugurated in 2013 in Belgium, organized by the Catholic University of Leuven, and is held on annual basis in different countries all around the globe Zagreb (Croatia), 2014; Elbasan (Albania), 2015; Seoul (South Korea), 2016. As on the previous occasions, the concept is based on expositions by young legal academics and practitioners on topics related to their recent research and professional activities, followed by debates with the participants to the forum. The emphasis is thus divided equally between the audience and the speaker since debate, exchange of ideas and constructive criticism have to be encouraged in the first place in order to promote the evolution of transport law. And, certainly, this way of proceeding has turned out to be a successful method of connecting academia with practice and to create debate around different proposals related to the same topic of interest.
