As an important part of the DELICROMAR project activities, a number of team memebers are participating in the large revision of the maritime legislation initiated by the Ministry of the sea, transport and infrastructure in June 2017. The ongoing procedure of the revision of the Croatian Maritime Code and the Maritime Domain and Seaports Act is an opportunity to include the drafting proposals reflecting the results of the project research, whereby certain critical points in the relevant legal framework were identified and de lege ferenda proposals were created. The DELICROMAR team members are taking part in two professional committees appointed by the copmetent ministry, one engaged in the drafting of the new Maritime Domain and Seaports Act and the other dealing with the amendments to the Maritime Code.
